Continuation of ‘’hollow’’ excitement

“Hollow” is a crime sitcom created by Danis Tanović and Amra Bakšić-Čamo, being characteristic for the high-quality production, intriguing story and a team of the extraordinary BiH actors.

After many positive critical reviews made in the first season, the investigation continues at the beginning of the second season and the story is going on in the police department premises, which could be screened in the Oslobođenje building. The time has stopped in the eighties. In every respect. Only corruption had a continuous progress.

The second season of the sitcom “Hollow” commences a year after completion of the first season. The body of the miner from Zenica was found in the Historical Museum, under the Josip Broz Tito monument. Everything points to suicide. Inspector Mido Zec decides to check the details and leaves for Zenica, his home city. Zenica police department has no issues with the fellow colleague from Sarajevo, but the Senior Inspector Vera has. The Senior Inspector Edib Pašić receives his award for the Hagada case he resolved, but the ceremony is interrupted by the bomb threat. Tanja, Edib’s ex-wife, also arrives in Sarajevo and makes a party for the old friends. Senči, having a paranoid fear of Smajli’s people revenge, is coming to the party as well.

Edib and Mido, located in Zenica and Sarajevo, are faced with the questions being considered as simple at first instance, but they finally investigate not only the cases but also themselves, their lives and life decisions.

The second season of the sitcom “Hollow” puts collective and individual moral issues, social awareness, future and belonging on the top.

The second season of the sitcom “Hollow” will be screened on 21 August in Cineplexx.

The first season of the sitcom “Hollow” received even six Heart of Sarajevo awards for sitcoms at the 29. Sarajevo Film Festival (in 2023) as follows: Heart of Sarajevo for the best drama series, Heart of Sarajevo for the best leading actor in drama series (Feđa Štukan), Heart of Sarajevo for the supporting actress in drama series (Ida Keškić), Heart of Sarajevo for the supporting actor in drama series (Boris Ler), Heart of Sarajevo for the best episode director of drama series (Danis Tanović and Aida Begić), Heart of Sarajevo for the best episode scenario of drama series (Danis Tanović, Amra Bakšić Čamo, Nikola Kuprešanin and Adnan Lugonić).

‘’Komar“ – The first local sitcom with mystery elements

The sitcom ‘’Komar’’, directed by Timur Makarević, Vedran Rupić and Una Gunjak, commences when Sarajevo – Jajce bus disappears on Komar mountain pass during the night. Local policeman Željko starts to look for the missing bus. Soon after they found out that an important package is in the bus, a lot of police and other state agencies come to the spot and the journalist Mersiha makes attempts to learn what actually happened. The mysterious package is the special SFRY weapon, so secret that even Tito did not know anything about it. A particle is missing in the package and it should be brought to Komar so that the special weapon starts working again and that the lost passengers come back.

The film crew includes a lot of young and creative people.

Feđa Štukan, one of the actors, shot certain scenes in Tito’s bunker in Konjic, without knowing anything about the complete story and what is actually going on there.

Momčilo Pićurić, the Montenegrin TV and theater actor, was glad to join the crew.

This sitcom is composed of six episodes lasting 50 minutes each.

This comic sitcom, where Admir Glamočak, Aleksandar Seksan and Dragan Marinković Maca have the leading roles, follows three families and their reaction on all (un)usual situations they face.

The second season of the sitcom ’’Prince from L.A.“
